Icelandair pilot, Mr. Petursson, has recently published a set of Iceland volcano pictures showing both the first and second volcanic eruption at Eyjafjallajokull. The volcanic eruption appears to be around 1/10 of the size it was during the first few days and the ash clouds surrounding the volcano appear to be slowly decreasing.
In the set of photos taken by Mr. Petursson, there are aerial shots of the plume during a commercial flight to The Westman Islands, just 30 km away from the volcano before airspace was restricted. Read more
