Iceland’s international airport in Keflavik has recently declared the winner of its Travel Raffle for March. Keflavik International Airport, in conjunction with Icelandair, is thrilled to announce that Caraline Zeizel, from the USA, has won a free trip for two to Iceland and three nights at a luxury hotel.
Visitors to Keflavik International Airport, since last November, have obtained lucky numbers from various duty free stores within the modern Leif Eriksson terminal. These numbers are based upon the total amount spent on discount items at the terminal.
The lucky Travel Raffle tokens can be picked up at any of the eighteen stores within the duty free zone at the airport. Products such as electrical equipment, cosmetics and fashion items can be found, with some up to half the price of stores in Reykjavik.
Besides the great duty free area and the Travel Raffle opportunity, Keflavik International Airport has also been crowned as the best airport in Europe. The airport was awarded the prestigious title by the ACI in a recent Airports Quality Survey for passenger satisfaction. The airport achieved high marks for its friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and extensive facilities, including restaurants, coffee bars and information services.
Iceland’s only international airport suggests connecting to it Facebook page to keep updated on various competitions and also for the chance to win a trip to Iceland. More details can be found at www.kefairport.is/English/
