The municipality of Snaefellsbaer has recently signed a water rights agreement with Iceland Ventures Limited, giving the company permission to extract spring water from the Snaefellsjokull glacier.

Due to the aforementioned agreement, Iceland Ventures Limited, who has created the local Icelandic company IVI ehf, can now extract premium quality glacier spring water from the Snaefellsjokull glacier for the next 62 years. Read more
