London, UK – If you haven’t yet signed up to take part in the Activity 4 All Challenge 2012, you will be pleased to hear that today, iGlobalWellness announces a second start date for their Olympic inspired employee wellness challenge.
The new 10 week Challenge will commence on 31st August 2012, the same week as the start of the Paralympic Games in London. Launched by three-time Olympian and Chairman of iGlobalWellness, David Moorcroft, this August’s Activity 4 All Challenge is a perfect opportunity for companies across the UK to immerse themselves in this exciting summer of sport.
Moorcroft’s Olympic inspired Challenge invites employees join a team of 5, compete to increase their activity levels as much as they can and fight to be crowned The Most Active Organisation – only one team can do it!
The Activity 4 All Challenge is ideal for everybody whatever their current level of health and fitness. Participants will use the exclusive iGlobalWellness activity monitor (the iAM) throughout the Challenge and are encouraged to take part in any activity, big or small. With 3D-accelerometer technology, the iAM measures speed and intensity of movement – every single movement counts towards winning!
As well as competing to win the accolade of The Most Active Organisation, the 5 person teams will be battling against each other to win the Challenge’s Decathalon – whichever team secures the most points over 10 weeks will win the Gold medal.
Companies already taking part include Deloitte, Panasonic, University of Sheffield, GlaxoSmithKline, PWC, Domestic and General, Ageas and First Group. Panasonic is also a worldwide Olympic partner and Deloitte is a London 2012 official Olympic supporter.
As part of iGlobalWellness’ commitment to the Olympic legacy, a discounted rate of £50 per person is available for the Activity 4 All Challenge. For more information or to sign up visit www.stayactivechallenge.com/activity-4-all or email email@example.com.
