Icelandic bank continues to support U.S Geothermal Energy Industry

Islandsbanki and Sustainable EnergyThe third annual U.S. Geothermal Energy Market Report by the Icelandic bank, Islandsbanki (formerly Glitnir) was released over the weekend in conjunction with their on going research into geothermal energy. The bank‘s report gives an overview on the amount of activity and development taking place within the United States geothermal energy industry today.

There are about 144 geothermal energy projects in development with a combined capacity of up to 6,400 MW, which in comparison to last year‘s figures is an increase of around 60 percent. Read more
